22 Week Belly

Well it must be pretty obvious that I am pregnant because people are no longer asking me, "Are you pregnant?" They are asking me, "When are you due?" It is fun to watch your belly get bigger. Kevin and I are getting excited. Baby Perlin will be here in four months! Everything is going well with the pregnancy. We had another ultrasound this past Thursday and the "Soon-To-Be-Grandmas" came. This whole experience is such a miracle and such a blessing.

Happy 30th Birthday Chris!

Yesterday we had a party for Chris' 30th birthday. It was the first time we had people over this summer which is hard to believe. I guess we have been busy on the weekends. We had a great time. Thank you to everyone who bought food and goodies.

Ode to Mikey

It was almost 9 years ago today when I went to go pick up Little Mikey and Little Chucky. They went to college with me and then they lived in my classroom where the kids loved to watch them. Chucky passed away a couple years ago and yesterday Mikey passed away. He was a good turtle and now has a little grave in my garden.

Peach Picking with Uncle Kevin

We were blessed with hundreds of peaches again this year on our peach tree. Joey came over and helped us pick a few. He loved throwing them into the basket.

Summer Goals... Done

Well, my two big goals for the summer were to have the nursery finished and register. Kevin and I went last Saturday to Babies R Us and Potterybarn Kids and registered and we also finished the nursery.

Below is the guided tour if you would prefer that...

More in the Nursery

Kevin and I were very thankful that my parents bought us the rocker for our nursery. It is so comfortable and cute! Thank you Mom and Dad!

Kevin's cousin, Erin, bought us this cute mobile. Baby Perlin is on his/her way to being a Spartan!

19 Week Belly

Well here it is... I keep getting requests for belly pictures so here is my first one.

Vay-Cay in the Thumb

Last weekend we went to the thumb and stayed in a little cottage on Lake Huron with Kevin's family. Everyone was there except Kenny (we missed you Kenny.) This is a picture of the whiffle ball softball game that took place on the beach. It was a thriller!

Kenny Chesney

We went to Kenny Chesney last night. With Kevin's parents and Chris. We "tailgated" at Uncle Mark's and Aunt Karen's before hand. We had a great time. As you can see behind us, there were just a few people there.

Joey and Emily

I have been watching my nephew one day a week this summer. Katy and I decided to meet for lunch and a quick swim with her daughter. I teach next to Katy at Cook. Joey loves the pool Emily is more of a sun queen.

Putting the Crib Together

It came in a huge box and Kevin and I were a little intimated but it was actually quite easy. We are very thankful that Kevin's parents bought our nursery furniture for us. We LOVE it! Thank you so much Mom and Dad!
