Katelyn's 1 Year Photos

 We went to see Billie Jo at work yesterday and she took the BEST pictures of Katelyn.  I LOVE them and I am so excited because I was just hoping for 1 good one, since Katelyn is usually shy and cries in situations like a photo session at a strange place.  Here are just a few of the adorable pictures.  Thank you Billie!!!!

First Cut of the Season

 Adam was focused like never before when it came to the grass on Saturday.  He pretty much cut the entire thing with Kevin.

Easter

 We woke up and went downstairs to find that the Easter bunny came and left some hidden eggs and baskets for Katelyn and Adam.

 Adam kept saying that he hoped that the Easter bunny would leave him a "Hoop A Loop" aka "Hula Hoop"  Well the bunny came through.

Adam not only wanted a hoop a loop, he also wanted a microphone that he saw at Gymboree for Katelyn's birthday.  The bunny came through again!

 After breakfast, Katelyn quietly went over to the Easter baskets and got to work, opening every egg and eating all the contents inside.  Her mouth was full of M&Ms.  She earned the nickname "The silent assassin."

 I was thrilled Katelyn actually kept her headband on for most of the day.  She usually takes it off after half a second!!!  It's the little things.

I love the movie Father of the Bride and there is a line in which George Banks talks about his daughter leaving his home and how he will never see her at the kitchen table in her PJs and socks again.  I always loved that line.  I have the same feeling when I see Adam in his PJs with his little bare feet swinging and dangling off the chair.  There will come a day that I will miss these little feet very much.

Spring Break

 Last week was my spring break and it was a little depressing since I was VERY sick from Saturday to Wednesday.  I felt awful on Monday and Tuesday.  I didn't get much of anything done that I wanted to but oh well.

 Emily and Andrew came over on Saturday to play.  

It was very nice to see them and catch up with their mommy.  It was a beautiful day!

Easter Pictures with Joey!

We went over to Joe and Billie's to do some Easter pictures.  Adam was deathly afraid of the chicks so he didn't get too close to them.  Katelyn didn't mind them.

 Joey on the other hand loved them and wasn't afraid of them at all.
