Happy Halloween!

I was a "Bun in the Oven" for Halloween. I have 2 more months of baking before the "bun" is done! My students didn't quite get the joke but all the parents did.

Joey, Joe, Billie, Karen, Dave, Mom and Dad all came over for Halloween. Mom, Dave and Karen brought dinner. Thank you so much! It made my job easy!

This was the cute cake Karen made.

We were Joey's first stop for trick or treating. He was a skunk, he was so cute! By the end of the night Joey realized that it was a lot easier to take candy out of our bowl and put it in his bucket than walk from house to house.

The Uncles of Tailgating!

Uncle got a portable fire pit for tailgating. I couldn't believe my eyes when he brought out his ax to chop wood at the tailgate. Here he is with his ax. No one messes with Uncle Mark.


Uncle Larry always has a good time at tailgate. Last Saturday we celebrated his birthday and he celebrated over a drink with Sparty.

What a Baby Shower!

Kevin and I had our baby shower today. It was so nice and I can't thank our moms, Summer, Jillian and Mary enough for putting the shower together. It was at Lochmoor Country Club and it was perfect. Kevin and I got so many wonderful gifts! Thank you to everyone who came.

Summer flew in from Auburn for the shower. It was really sweet of her. She was very helpful when it came to opening the gifts!

Jillian had to fly off to LA right after the shower.

My Aunt Diane drove in from Wisconsin. It was nice to see her and Uncle Rick. Thank you for coming.

MSU beat UofM Saturday. I had some special guests over to watch the game. Summer and Henry were in town for my baby shower. They brought us good luck. Gary and Kevin went to the game. GO GREEN!

Baby Perlin at 30 Weeks!

It is amazing to see our baby grow and change each month. In this picture you can see the baby's nose and eyes and cheeks. Baby Perlin has a nice round belly and little hands. We can't wait to meet him or her.

Dress Shopping with Jill

I had the honor to go shopping with Jill for her wedding dress last Sunday. It is going to be a tough decision but I think this one is definitely in the running.

Our First Shower Gift!!!!

Kevin and I pulled in the driveway at the same time today and to our surprise we had our first shower gift sitting and waiting for us. We got our stroller! I never thought I would get so excited over a stroller. I put it together right away and started walking around the house. I just need a baby for it now! Kevin and I love it! Thank you to Kristen and Miss Fran. We can't wait to see you two at the shower.
