Happy Halloween!

I had such a fun Halloween today because Adam had so much fun. Adam borrowed his cousin Joey's skunk costume for Halloween. He was so cute.
What a little stinker!

Adam adores Joey and he laughs uncontrollably when Joey chases him.

Grandma and Grandpa Perlin came over with Uncle Danny

Adam totally got the whole "trick-or-treating" thing. I was so impressed. He walked with everyone and walked right up for candy.

He ran into his friend Peyton.

Grandma Shirley and Papa Joe came over to the house for Halloween too! Along with Joey, Uncle Joe and Auntie Billie! It was a fun night!

Pumpkin Carving and Cookie Decorating

We got the pumpkins off the porch and Adam seemed really interested.

Then he took off once he looked inside. It wasn't until I brought out the spoon that he started to participate. He didn't want to touch the pumpkin guts with his hands.

Then we decorated cookies. Adam did a really good job for a 22 month old :)

Cider Mill Sunday

We went to Yates Cider Mill today with Kevin's parents and sister.
It was the perfect fall day outside. Adam loved the place. As soon as we put Adam down he ran EVERYWHERE! He wouldn't stop... so much to see.

What a ham!

Adam LOVES apples and he couldn't believe it when he saw the huge containers of apples! He grabbed one right away and dug his teeth right in!

He even shared some with me and Daddy.

Apples AND donuts!

Pumpkin Time! So many pumpkins..

Here is the winning one! We can't wait to carve it! I am excited to see what Adam thinks about carving this year.

Feeding the goats!

Pony ride!

Adam cried when he got off, he wanted to stay on longer and I don't blame him. It was a very short ride for five dollars.

Even Sparty got a pumpkin. By the way... Adam can now say, "Sparty!"

We went out to brunch afterward and Adam ate all of his grandpa's fries, ranch and ketchup. Poor Grandpa.

Harvest Happenings

My mom and I took Adam to Hess-Hathaway Park in Waterford today for Harvest Happenings. We met Joey and my brother Joe there too. It was a very nice event that I will look forward to every year. First we went on the blow-ups. Adam went in his first bounce house. He didn't really know what to do but he liked it.

Then we went down the huge blow up slide. Adam loved it! We did it about five more times. Joey loved it too. Too bad you had to stand in line between turns. That taking turns thing really stinks sometimes. This video was cut a little short but you can see Adam taking off. He would just fly down all by himself. I had to help him up to the top.

Then we went to the applesauce taste testing and had some applesauce, cider and donuts. Then off to the small animal area. Adam got to pet a bunny and feed the ducks and a sheep. Watching Adam feed the sheep was my favorite event of the day. I put food in Adam's hand and the sheep ate right out of Adam's hand and Adam just kept giggling. Adam kept saying "Baa, Baa!"

Joey petting Gabby.

Joey feeding the ducks.

They had goats and turkeys and peacocks.

They had a trackless train there. Adam loves trains so he was ready. He kept saying, "Choo-choo" while we were riding it.

Adam got to ride a pony too! He did great.
He held onto the saddle horn and rode with a smile on his face.

We had lunch there and then we played on the playground at the park. Adam loved trying to follow Joey around and do whatever he was doing. His face just lights up when he sees Joey. I look forward to going back next year!

Stuff

Adam likes to help Kevin fix the batteries on his vacuum.

We celebrated Uncle Kenny's birthday on Friday.

Adam loves to play baseball and he has gotten really good over the past couple weeks at hitting the ball off of the tee.
