Katelyn's 6 Month Pictures

This Little Piggy

I was in the kitchen and Adam and Katelyn were in the living room. I heard Adam singing "This Little Piggy Went to the Market" to Katelyn. He had her little toes in his hands. It was so cute.

Play Date with the Strausbaughs

On Saturday we got together with the Strausbaughs for a play date. We have been looking forward to it all summer :) Adam and Charlotte playing on the HUGE play structure called Kids Castle.

Look how big Jay has gotten! He is such a happy baby boy!

The babies watching the big kids in the splash park.

Play dates aren't just for the little kids. The big kids have fun too. Especially when Pat and Kevin get together. They were "taking buckets" here. The water was soooo cold. It was like hose water, it may have been even colder.

Picnic Lunch

Jay sleeping, sweet boy.

Katelyn liked Charlotte.

We had a fun time... Thanks Strausbaugh Family!

Cook Playdate: Last Day of Summer

Friday was my official "Last Day of Summer." We had a Cook play date and everyone was supposed to be there but Jen couldn't make it at the last minute so that was too bad. Kristine had us over her house and we had a really nice time. The kids always have fun when we go to Kristine's. Emma was there so Adam was excited.

Things did get a little crazy and the police had to come and break it up. This little motorized police cruiser was so cute.

Playing house

Baby Andrew had a blast.
Katelyn talking it up

Adam swung on a big boy swing!Fun in the sun
Katelyn poolside
Lunchtime... pizza by the pool
Kiddies swimming.

Katelyn loved the pool.

Jackson and Evan talking about life.
Adam playing with Emma and the train table. Adam is going to ask for this exact train table for Christmas so it was nice to see it in person and watch Adam play with it.

Sydney loved the babies.

I start work on Monday so Good-bye summer! I did go in this past week to work on my classroom and Katelyn did great going to daycare and being with Aunt Mary. I was worried for nothing. Knowing that she will be fine makes this week much easier.

Something on your chin...

What's that you say... Do I have something on my chin?

"Oh how embarrassing... I have a puff on my chin!"

"I am so funny!"

Thomas the Train

On our way to see Thomas!

There was a big blow up Percy!

Adam got to meet Sir Topham Hatt

We went to Crossroads Village to ride Thomas and I was very impressed with the entire set-up. It was organized very well. Here is Adam and Kevin going through the corn maze.

Thomas bounce house and slide!!

Thomas trains set-up for kids to play with. There was also a bubble station, stamping craft station, storytellers, small animals and more to do while we waited for Thomas.

Then it was time for the ride!

All Aboard!

I ended up running into 2 of my friends from work with their families so we all rode together. Kristin and her son Jackson.

Kristine's daughter Sydney.

The Eastons were there too!

The train ride was 40 minutes and Adam loved it. He just sat and enjoyed the ride. I wish he was this content on an airplane. I love this picture of him!

Go Thomas... Go!

Katelyn also enjoyed the ride. The rhythm put her right to sleep. The train ride happened to be right at her nap time so that worked out well.

Then we rode the merry-go-round at crossroads village which goes VERY fast. Of course, Adam got on a horse but then he had to get down because when we were at the mall a couple weeks ago, his cousin Joey sat in the cup on the merry-go-round and apparently now Adam doesn't want to sit on horses anymore.

So Adam and Kevin ended up riding in the flying dragon carriage.

Picnic lunch

Katelyn with a little food on her chin.

Good-Bye Thomas

We had a really nice time. Of course we ended the trip in tears because we went to the gift shop and Adam didn't want to leave all the trains they have set-up for kids to play with. Then he didn't want to leave the Big Thomas but I guess that means he had a good time.
