I took the kids to East Lansing for the day. It was so fun to show them the houses that I lived in and to show them where I worked when I was a student. Adam couldn't believe that I ever stopped working at the Student Book Store. He thought it was the greatest place ever and even questioned me if I got fired and that is why I am a teacher now. The kids got to meet some of the players, eat all the stadium food they wanted, go down to the field and more.
Adam got to suit up for a picture on a blue screen. Katelyn couldn't figure out where those football players came from.
Katelyn was excited to hold real pom-poms with the dance team.
She got to meet the cheerleaders too.
Down on the field but we couldn't touch the grass. The field didn't have the end zones sprayed yet or the 50 yard line.
They ran all the way to the top and back down. That scoreboard is so big.
I couldn't believe that Adam got to hold Zeke the Wonderdog's leash! He was such a good dog.
In the press box ready to send in an article to the paper.
We got to pose with the Cotton Bowl and Rose Bowl trophies.
Adam got his shirt signed by players and Kate got a poster signed. They both got fist pumps and the players talked to them. They were excited about that.
The line for Dantonio was ridiculous. It was over two hours. I thought this was good enough.
Go Green! It was a great day to be a Spartan!
