4 Year Old Check Up and 2 Year Old Check Up

Adam has always loved going to to doctor since the time he was born.  He has always loved getting examined and looking at all the tools that Dr. Chung uses.  Katelyn on the other hand is just starting to enjoy going but last weekend I think Adam's love may have come to an end.  He had to get 3 shots and he was very scared to get them and was not happy after he got them. 

 So the kids went for their yearly check-ups and they both did great.  Adam is in the top 10 percent for height and the bottom 25 percent for weight.  Katelyn is in the 80th percentile for height and weight.  Katelyn had to get 3 shots too and she did great with the first 2, the last one was not so good.  It was the BEST I have ever seen her with Dr. Chung.  In the past when I have taken her there she would cling on to me for dear life when the doctor entered the room.  She cried and screamed when the doctor touched her.  This time she sat on the exam table by herself and she didn't cry.  She kept looking at me for reassurance but she did GREAT!

Snowman 2013 and a little poop

 We really haven't had very good packing snow this season.  Today was the BEST!  The snow was so much fun and the temp was in the 30s so we could play outside and not be freezing!

 Then something very exciting happened.... Katelyn and Adam hung out on the potties together and Katelyn pooped in the potty!!!!  I didn't believe her when she told me so she brought the potty into Adam's room to show me.  We are not potty training but I guess I should start.

Happy BIrthday Ella

 Last weekend we went to Ella's 4th Birthday Party.  Carrie did such a beautiful job decorating and all the little details were just amazing!!  The kids had a nice time!

Joseph's 4th Birthday Party

 Joseph is our neighbor and his backyard backs up to ours.  He also goes to school with Adam and has a younger sister just like Adam.  We went to his birthday party last night and the kids all had so much fun.  Joseph loves Halloween so he had a Halloween themed party.

Lil' Kickers

 Adam and Katelyn have soccer on Saturday mornings.  Their classes are at the same time.  Adam is in a class with 4 and 5 year olds but he is the youngest by far.  Katelyn is in a parent/child class.  They both really enjoy it.

Sesame Street Live!

 We took the kids to Sesame Street Live! last weekend and they loved it!  Adam was participating in the show by answering along and singing along.  Katelyn grabbed on to me for dear life when the characters first came out but then warmed up and she had fun pointing out all the characters on stage.

 Our kids LOVE popcorn...They would eat it all day if we let them and if we go someplace that has popcorn they always want to get it!
