Baby Colin Turns 1... He's not a Baby Anymore

Colin turned one this past week.  He had a birthday party and we got to go and see his new house and celebrate with him.

Adam can Kate love to play together in their rooms.  They had been playing for a while and I went in to check on them, this is what I found.  One head sticking out and one pair of feet sticking out.  Toys everywhere!!!

Halloween 2013

We were the Wizard of Oz at my school.  I love my kindergarten staff!

Then I raced home and got things ready for Halloween at the house.  

We had some brain jello this year!

 Pumpkins ready!

 Dinner first, blue tongues and all.

 Kids ready!  

Adam was Raphael (he has know since March what he was going to be)

Katelyn was a piggy (it was adorable and borrowed which means it was free!)

"Mommy, they gave me candy!"  She couldn't believe it!

We ran into Joseph and Jackson

We got to see Jordon's purple dragon and Owen's green dragon costume.

 

After the wet Halloween night we changed into cozy PJs

 

Counted the loot

Had some crazy drinks

 Made little boo bubbles and BIG boo bubbles.  Katelyn was too busy making phone calls to participate!

Halloween at Katelyn and Adam's School

 Katelyn in enrolled in a First Families class so once a week Aunt Mary takes her to class at Adam's school.  Katelyn loves it.  Mrs. H teaches it.  Here is Katelyn making playdough creations in her room.

 Mrs. H read Where is Baby's Pumpkin? which is a Katelyn favorite!

 

Instead of a Halloween party Adam's class had a hoe-down.  They wore "farmer's wear" and got to do a lot of fun activities in school that day.  They had a spooky obstacle course, party in the room and a sing along.

Pumpkin Carving

 We made a spiderman and a jack-o-lantern this year.

 We also painted two pumpkins and made them into the things that Adam and Katelyn were going to be for Halloween.
